The family grows up very quickly.  Reminds me that there isn’t much time to impart the things of the Lord to them before they are off getting married.

“Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb.”  Revelation 19:9

I love going to weddings.  I love seeing the Bride and Groom ready to take their vow before the Lord and all their friends and family.  I love the free (for me) food and watching people dance.  I don’t dance much.  Not that I can’t, but I would rather just enjoy the party.

One day those that have put their hope and trust in Jesus Christ will be at the greatest wedding reception ever.  Nothing but great joy and celebration.  No heart ache or hurt or jealousy of any kind.  Just great love for our God and the one to whom we are married.  

I’ve been to some amazing weddings and receptions, but they will have been as nothing compared to the one prepared by our Lord for us.  I can’t wait!
